Senior Paralegal – HOA

About the Company

SECCA Search Group is partnering with a top-tier publicly traded homebuilder to hire a Senior Paralegal with deep expertise in Community Association Management (HOAs). This fully remote position is ideal for a legal professional passionate about supporting the creation and operation of vibrant residential communities.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review governing documents, declarations, amendments, and other HOA/COA materials
  • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with local and state HOA regulations
  • Collaborate with in-house counsel, outside attorneys, and community management teams
  • Assist in setting up and transitioning new communities from a legal standpoint
  • Maintain accurate legal filings, records, and tracking systems

Qualifications

5+ years of paralegal experience with a focus on HOA/COA law, homebuilding, or real estate development

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of governing structures and HOA compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations with the following states: AZ, CA, TX, FL
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and legal documentation proficiency
  • Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven tasks independently
