SECCA Search Group is seeking a Division Vice President of Land Acquisition on behalf of a leading national homebuilder in Columbus, Ohio. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on strategic land acquisition, development, and expansion in one of the flagship divisions of this publicly traded homebuilder.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Land Sourcing & Acquisition: Identify and acquire land to support division growth, maintaining a 3–5-year supply of land.
• • Market Analysis & Feasibility: Conduct in-depth analysis of potential acquisitions to align with division profitability and strategic goals.
• • Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Lead high-level negotiations with sellers, structuring deals that maximize return on investment.
• • Due Diligence & Entitlements: Manage the entitlement process, zoning approvals, and feasibility studies to ensure smooth land development.
• • Team Leadership & Growth Strategy: Lead a large land acquisition team ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• • Long-Term Development Planning: Oversee the division’s land strategy to meet aggressive closing and revenue targets.

Qualifications:

• • Extensive experience in land acquisition and/or land development within homebuilding.
• • Strong leadership background with the ability to manage large-scale land portfolios.
• • Proven success in negotiation, deal structuring, and entitlements.
• • In-depth knowledge of the Columbus land market and zoning regulations.
