Who can submit a referral?
Anyone 18 years or older who legally resides in the U.S. can submit a referral. Recruiters or third-party staffing agencies are not eligible.
What types of referrals are accepted?
You can refer either:
- A candidate looking for new opportunities, or
- A company that needs help hiring.
Both types count toward the referral reward.
How do I submit a referral?
All referrals must be submitted through the online referral form. This ensures SECCA can track your submission and credit you properly.
Do I need permission before referring someone?
Yes. You must have the candidate’s consent before sharing their information with SECCA.
How do I earn the $1,000 reward?
You receive a $1,000 bonus when:
- Your referral leads to a completed hire, and
- SECCA receives payment from the client.
SECCA will notify you as soon as you are eligible for payment.
Are there limits on how many referrals I can submit?
No—there is no limit. You can earn multiple rewards.
How will I receive my reward?
Rewards are issued via cash or electronic payment. SECCA will coordinate the method with you directly.
Are referral rewards taxable?
Yes. If your total rewards reach $600 or more within a year, SECCA will issue a 1099 form for tax reporting.
