Area Sales Manager
Compensation: $135k/year base + bonus (up to $300k all-in)

About the Role
SECCA Search Group is proud to partner with a leading public homebuilder to hire Area Sales Managers for key markets in Dallas and Southwest Florida. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for experienced new home sales professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building, coaching, and scaling high-performing sales teams.
In this role, you’ll oversee multiple active communities within your assigned market, drive sales performance, and partner closely with division leadership to execute growth initiatives. This position offers strong compensation, long-term stability, and a clear path for advancement within a well-capitalized and respected homebuilding organization.
What you’ll do:
Lead and optimize sales performance across multiple active communities within the assigned market.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop new home sales consultants to consistently meet and exceed sales goals.
Analyze local market conditions, buyer trends, and competitive activity to inform pricing and positioning strategies.
Collaborate with Marketing, Construction, Operations, and division leadership on new community launches and absorption pacing.
Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and KPI dashboards for senior leadership.
Monitor community-level traffic, conversion rates, backlog, cancellations, and overall sales performance.
Ensure exceptional customer experience standards and strict adherence to company sales processes.
Support market growth initiatives and help develop strategies to improve sales velocity and community performance.
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of new home sales experience, with demonstrated leadership or multi-community oversight.
Strong understanding of either the Dallas–Fort Worth or Southwest Florida housing market and local buyer demographics.
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and scale high-performing sales teams within a production homebuilding environment.
Experience managing sales performance across multiple communities.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
Required Skills:

Market analysis, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning expertise.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
CRM reporting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
Strong understanding of new home sales processes, community operations, and buyer conversion.
